Michelle’s debut into the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) was in 2004 as a contestant in the RAW diva search. Although she was the fourth to be eliminated in the competition, she signed a 3 year contract with WWE in November 2004. Michelle’s goal, unlike her co-competitors in the Diva Search, she said, was to become a wrestler. Her wrestling career has witnessed dramatic developments making her an A-game celebrity in the wrestling world, now known as the All American Diva.

Mc Cool debuted on SmackDown! as a face and a personal trainer, a publicity stunt related to her previous career as a personal trainer and as a kick boxing and gymnastics teacher. She contested in several “Best Body” competitions before her first match in the ring to beat Dawn Marie and Rene Dupree on March 3rd 2005. Mc Cool and Marie fought for the next several weeks with Marie becoming the victor.

Mc Cool then got into a verbal war with Melina, MNM’s manager, in defense of Heidenreich. Mc Cool and Melina finally had it out in Melina’s debut SmackDown! fight and Mc Cool lost. Mc Cool received a finishing snapshot from MNM after which she did not appear on WWE television for nearly a year. From here Mc Cool was sent to Deep South Wrestling (DSW) a developmental facility of WWE as a wrestler, host and commentator.

On June 2nd 2006, Mc Cool returned to WWE as a heel with the gimmick of a teacher, her profession before wrestling. Mc Cool was a seventh grade teacher in Palatka, Florida and earned a Masters degree in Educational Leadership from Florida State University. In Mc Cool’s first fight back, she teamed up with Kristal Marshall against Jillian Hall and Ashley Massaro. She was face again in April 2007 against Jillian in defense of Ashley. In the July 28 edition of SmackDown, Mc Cool illegally defeated Jillian by using the ropes as leverage and won her first singles match.

Mc Cool’s love life has also been feud-fuelled. She went on a date with Jamie Noble after he won three fights in a row against Chuck Palumbo. Palumbo and Mc Cool’s friendship was such that Mc Cool used to escort him to his matches. The trio teamed up even though Palumbo and Noble couldn’t stand each other and only tried to get along in front of Mc cool. This cordial relationship ended when Palumbo pushed Mc Cool in the ring and gave her a concussion. Palumbo had now taken the title of villain from noble, at least in the eyes of the fans. Michelle is now in a relationship with The Undertaker according to her friend Torrie Wilson.

Michelle started her sporting career in and before high school playing soft ball and continues to excel in her game. Despite several defeats, the diva has won several titles. She won the SmackDown top diva contest against Victoria, Eve Torres, Marysey and Cherry. She then won the second Golden Dream Match after which she fought Natalya Neidhert, the previous Dreams Match winner. On July 20 2008, Mc Cool defeated Natalya at The Great American Bash to become the first diva champion.
