Maria Kanellis is a WWE diva born in Ottawa in Illinois on the 25th of February in 1982. She grew up as a person who loved sports especially basketball, softball and also volleyball. In the year 2000, Kanellis graduated from high school and spent some time in the University of Northern Illinois. The WWE diva had a chance to pose in an issue of Playboy when she was just nineteen years of age though she however turned down this offer of a lifetime. In around 2004, she had another chance to contest in a reality show called Outback Jack which she rightly took. In this specific show, Maria Kanellis was among those who were left, three of them, before she faced elimination. Before the onset of her wrestling career, Kanellis was a regular competitor in scores of beauty pageants.

In late 2004, Kanellis entered the search for a Raw Diva after making a decision to enter after coming across an advert as she was watching an edition of Raw. She was fifth but the company hired her after Kanellis conspicuously gave one of the contestants the finger during her eventual elimination. Kannellis started making her appearances in the Wrestling place at the Ohio Valley training under the trainer Paul Heyman. Kannellis was innovative and along the way she earned a place to contribute idea for the bookings where this work earned her a top spot in Raw roster. She first made her debut in November of 2004 as an interviewer on the backstage. Later, the Raw diva earned another spot and reputation as an oblivious reporter on the backstage where Kanellis seemed to be asking all the wrong questions which irritated as well as amusing the superstars in the WWE and other Divas.

Kanellis Maria began to be very physical outside and inside the ring. After this, she was defeated during her initial official match in 2005, 10th of January, during an edition by Christine Hemme in Raw in a significant pillow fight of lingeries. In also another physical moment, Kanellis had a nasty experience when Stratus literally slapped her so hard leading to one of her fillings genuinely falling out. Maria has also competed in an Eddy Guerrero show of tribute in Raw as a non-title royal battle of divas. In most of the match Kanellis stood alone as she continued to eliminate prolific divas such as Jillian Hall and the Diva queen Victoria. She was later eliminated by the efforts of Straus and Melina after they were left three divas in the ring.

In 2008, Maria Kanellis started working in SmackDown as a part of the Draft Supplement in 2008 WWE. Her debut was on the 1st August edition of the brand WWE SmackDown where she defeated Victoria. On November’s edition, Kannelis was not able to take the victory championship from the wrestler McCool.

For now, Maria Kannelis will be teaming up with the other SmackDown Divas at the survival series in a bid to fight for top supremacy among the other Divas.
